Carolina Tailors was founded in February 1979 under the name of the Atlantic Coast Buying Group, Inc. DBA Carolina Tailors as a Men’s and Ladies Wear Co-op Buying office with members and offices in 28 states. In the early 80's, the emphasis was focused more toward corporate apparel and the company began representing manufacturers for re-sale to the Uniform and Advertising Specialty Industry. In the mid 80's, Corporate America began demanding items with their logos on everything from matches to uniforms to the highest quality golfing apparel. It was then decided that Carolina Tailors would take its knowledge and experience directly to the end user (Corporate America). Until the mid to late 90's, the company mostly dealt in apparel and in 1999, Carolina Tailors Inc. purchased and incorporated Promotional Products Plus to compliment our apparel lines and further serve our customers' Advertising Specialty needs. In 2004 we partnered with several companies’ to form Carolina Tailors Inc. DBA Piedmont Marketing Group Inc. With our partners we are now able to offer marketing and advertising ideas along anything conceivable product that a customer might want to put their logo on.
